Call for Papers

Interdisciplinary research and development are the general trend in nowadays science and technology progress involving synthetic efforts of researchers and engineers from various backgrounds. ICANDVC is such an academic platform with an enthusiastic aim to provide a high-quality academic exchange of the most recent advances in the areas related to nonlinear dynamics, vibration analysis and control, energy harvesting, structural health monitoring, control systems theory and methods, robotics, and their engineering applications. The conference will reflect the state of the art of applied nonlinear dynamics and control in academic and engineering practice.

The topics of interest relevant to applied nonlinear dynamics, vibration, and control are welcomed, including but not limited to:

  1. Nonlinear vibration suppression and energy harvesting;
  2. Discontinuous dynamical systems and control;
  3. Nonlinear dynamics of rotating machines and applications;
  4. Stochastic dynamics and statistical application of nonlinear systems;
  5. Exploring nonlinear benefits in vibration control, energy harvesting, fault diagnosis, and robotic systems etc.;
  6. Random vibration and uncertainty quantification;
  7. Decision-making and motion control for intelligent unmanned autonomous systems;
  8. Robust control for mechanical systems;
  9. Nonlinear control for underactuated mechanical systems;
  10. Nonlinear dynamics, analysis, and design;

ICANDVC-2024 is organized by Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China, supported by City University of Hong Kong, Shanghai University and Ningbo Institue of Materials Technology & Engineering, CAS. Accepted full conference papers will be published in Springer conference proceedings-Advances in Applied Nonlinear Dynamics, Vibration and Control, indexed by DBLP, Google Scholar, EI-Compendex, Mathematical Reviews, SCImago, and Scopus. The volumes are also submitted for the inclusion in ISI Proceedings.
